Ashley earned both her undergraduate degree in communications and business as well as her master’s degree in leadership studies from the University of San Diego (USD). She holds paralegal and leadership coaching certificates from USD as well. Ashley has spent much of her career on the administrative side of higher education until she joined SD/Seaside VBC in 2019. Ashley grew up as a competitive equestrian and continued to compete into her mid-twenties when she launched into graduate school while working full-time. Spending so many hours at the barn, Ashley appreciates the importance of youth athletics. She believes that sports not only nurture our bodies but also our minds through physical activity, teamwork, and leadership.
