Dave started playing volleyball in Carlsbad when he was 13 years old.  He has been playing indoor and beach ever since.  Dave is currently a top beach player and is in the AEVBC.  He is playing in the top-level CBVA tournaments and is working to make it on the AVP tour.  He also is a top-level beach coach.

Dave has been coaching with Seaside since the spring of 2016.  He brings amazing passion to the court as a coach and works hard to pass that passion on to his players.  Each and every one of Dave’s players feels connected to him and wants to work hard for him.

Dave has a passion for the outdoors.  He loves playing beach volleyball up and down the coast and especially in Mexico.  He loves to travel, surf, outrigger canoe paddle, but most of all he loves to hang out at the beach with his dog.
