Kolby started playing volleyball in fifth grade at SDVBC and finished her entire middle and high school career at SDVBC. 8 years of playing for this club in total. She also played for Westview High School as their starting varsity outside hitter for three years, graduating in 2015. She followed her passion for volleyball to the University of Miami, FL for the next four years as an outside hitter as well, graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Human and Social Development with a minor in Education in 2019. Now she has made her way back to San Diego, finishing up her Master’s Degree in Leadership Studies from Vanguard University, and is on track to pursuing a teaching career. She has had years of coaching experience through her time at the University of Miami and the Gold Medal Squared organization, as well as coaching a JV high school team in the fall of 2019 up in Orange County. Now she is back at her SDVBC home where you can find her coaching Jumpstart, coaching our 12s local programs, assisting our 14-1 team, and doing private lessons! 

In her free time, she enjoys traveling (especially back to Florida), hiking, watching sunsets, going to church, being involved with FCA (The Fellowship of Christian Athletes), being with friends, eating good food, and playing outside!!
