SDVBC offers competitive travel teams ages 12 & under to 18 & under. Teams compete as part of the Southern California Volleyball Association (SCVA) Region.

Travel teams require a commitment for a 6-8 month season. They practice an average of two times per week for 2 hours a practice. Tournament play typically consists of 8-10 hour days in the Orange or LA County areas. SCVA tournaments begin in December and conclude in June for most age groups.

UNABLE TO MAKE IT TO the 15's-18's TRYOUTS?

1. We suggest players who are not in town for tryouts participate in either the HS Summer Program or the HS Weekly Workouts (or both).  These programs will be coached by many of the upcoming season's travel coaches so it will be a good opportunity for her to get in front of them.  We suggest she give those coaches the heads up that she is interested in travel but will not be able to attend tryouts so they keep an eye on her throughout the program/week.  
    
2. We also suggest registering for tryouts with a note in the comment section that she cannot be there but would still like to be considered for a travel team.  Our coaches will do their best to keep all players that have expressed interest in mind, however registering will ensure her name is on the list for consideration.
